Discussion and Action on Recommendation for the Mission Statement
Following several work sessions, the ad hoc committee has provided the following two options to be presented to the governing body of the City of Herington to be the revised Mission Statement for the City of Herington’s comprehensive plan “Herington Tomorrow”.
Option 1: Herington is a place to call home with a sense of pride and a better quality of life while providing reliable services through effective governance in our community.
Option 2: Herington strives to create a place to call home through safe reliable services and amenities for a better quality of life in our community.
Discussion and action is needed on this topic to accept the above options to be presented and also to determine primary option to be provided to the governing body.
