Street Department

The Streets Division is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all concrete and asphalt streets, concrete alleys, handicap ramps, curb & gutters (along major thoroughfares), storm sewers, drainage structures, bridges, permanent barricades, and guardrails located within the City of Herington. The division is also responsible for the street/storm sewer cleaning program, street reconstruction and emergency response to ice, snow, high water, traffic hazards and other activities; in addition, we also provide signage and barricades for special events.
