Hilltop Community Center

The Hilltop Community Center located at 2 South A Street provides a nice environment for the Community. The former Herington High School/Middle School facility was renovated to include a community center open to all ages, 13 apartments, a community auditorium and recreation center. The complex and parking areas are ADA handicap accessible. Also available are the Homestead Village Apartments (Independent living for those 50 years and older) at 1100 North Broadway.   • Large TV room to sit and visit, play card games, dominoes, and a game of pool
  • On-site daily Noon Meals (60 years & older suggested donation $3.50.  Under 60 years of age suggested donation $5.25)
  • Meals on Wheels Program
  • General Public Transportation Bus, cost $1.50 one way or $3.00 round trip
  • Hilltop Apartments for Senior & Handicapped Young Adult 
  • Homestead Apartments located at 1100 N Broadway are for those 50 years and older
  • Auditorium for live performances
