Energy Conservation Notice

We received the email below from KMEA and Evergy that Southwest Power Pool notifying us that they will be entering conservative operations from 12:00pm 7/29/2021 to 10:00pm 7/30/2021. We will keep you notified of any dispatches and updates that we receive.
Please be mindful of your AC thermometer. Energy conversationalists recommended keeping your AC set to no lower than 78 when at home and bump up to 82 when you aren't. Any degree under 78 degrees could raise your energy bill up to 5%.
If you have to wash clothes, it is recommended that you wash them in cold water.
We also recommend unplugging any cords and sockets not currently in use.
