CITY OF HERINGTON CODE ENFORCEMENT

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE ISSUES OR OTHER NUISANCES 

Please contact the City Office at 785-258-2271 so a member of the staff can communicate the issues to the Neighborhood Enforcement Officer (NEO)

You can also email the NEO at inspector@cityofherington.com. Please provide as much detail on the issue so the City can properly assess all possible violations.

BUILDING PERMITS

Contact the City Office at 785-258-2271 to provide an email address so they can send you a building permit application.

Fill out the application, sign, and date, then return by email.

The Neighborhood Enforcement Officer will then contact you and set up a time to go over your application at your site, maintaining distance separation.

If you do not have access to email, please call the City Office and we will do everything we can to try and get this completed.

PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL PERMIT OR INSPECTIONS

Contact City Office and make a request.  They will notify us and we will schedule it.

If you come down with any illness, please cancel your appointment and we can reschedule until you are feeling better.
