Does the trash company provide a trash can?
You will need to provide your own trash container. By City Ordinance the trash containers shall:
- Be not more than 30 gallons
- Be made of galvanized metal or other non-rusting material
- Be made with a tight fitting lid
- Be leak proof and fly tight
Plastic bags manufactured for garbage and refuse disposal may be substituted for residential containers. Plastic bags, when used, shall be securely closed. All garbage shall be drained of all liquids before being placed in bags or containers.
If you chose to use bags and animals get into your trash bags, the trash company will not pick up trash strewn about.
